Digital Scan Best Practices
For optimal digital model results when scanning a patient with braces, please remove the arch wire before scanning the patient.
Once the scan is complete, insert a passive arch wire. Any movement of the wire after the scan may affect the fit of the final appliance.
Please submit opposing arch scans for the following appliances:

Habit Appliances

Pediatric Partials

Any appliance with posterior occlusal coverage

Appliances with pontics for accurate occlusion
